  • Highlights

    Not in order. A bunch of them are top of the list material.
    Chocolate croissants. They give one such a feeling of accomplishment. Also Jeremy thinks they and by association me are the best.
    Fresh Apple cider from the Flewellings. Thankful for both the apple cider and the Flewellings for thinking of it. :)
    Pontiac Azteks.
    Jeremy made me pancakes the other day and where did he find the recipe? Allrecipes.com. I didn't even know he knew about such things.
    Smiley babies.
    Fat smiley babies.
    Music. I'm listening to Cascada, but it's not entirely true to say I'm thankful for Cascada.
    Washing machines. I just heard of someone who doesn't have one.
    The time change. It'll mess with Sophia's mind without her knowing about it.

    What I Do

    Someone sent me this poem. I thought you'd like to read it.

    Today I left some dishes dirty,
    the bed got made around 3:30.
    The diapers soaked a little longer,
    the odor grew a little stronger.
    The crumbs I spilled the day before,
    are staring at me from the floor.
    The fingerprints there on the wall,
    will likely be there till next fall.
    The dirty streaks on the windowpanes,
    will still be there next time it rains.
    Shame on you, you sit and say,
    just what did you do today?
    I held a baby till she slept,
    I held a toddler while he wept.
    I played a game of hide and seek,
    I squeezed a toy so it would squeek.
    I pulled a wagon, sang a song,
    taught a child right from wrong.
    What did I do this whole day through?
    Not much that shows, I guess that's true.
    Unless you think that what I've done,
    might be important to someone
    With deep blue eyes and soft brown hair,
    If that's true... I've done my share!

  • 3 weeks

    I haven't written a real post on here in a long time, but I have internet and time to kill, and no more dog hair to sweep up.
    Yesterday I went to Woodstock for a "Healthy Baby and Me" class. I was right on time (I was late the first time. I got lost.), and there was no one there. . I'm still not sure what happened. People should tell me things. So I came back and watched Mr. Deeds.
    Has anyone tried the new McDonald's Mochas and Cappuccinos? Apparently they're made with real milk and espresso. I haven't tried them yet, but they sound really yummy. 
    Mama, Maria and Juliana came to visit earlier this week. We went to the Connell House Museum. It wasn't a very exciting place. It had nice fireplaces. The thing that saved it though was a gorgeous hat collection. There was a beautiful, little red and turquoise one. Juliana and I thought it was the best one. I wish we still wore cool hats like that.

     
    Three weeks before baby Graham! Girl/Boy? I really want to know :p. The hospital here is really nice. It's brand new and has lots of room for the amount of patients they have. The only thing that I don't like is that every time you go you get a random doctor.
    There's a clock in this house that makes weird bird noises every hour. The first time I heard it I thought the dog was dying.
